HELLO AGAIN....

Wow, it just POURED for about 45 minutes. Half way thru the downpour I remembered my truck windows were down. That was nasty. Had to change my clothes. I won't have to water any plants this evening. Now, the sun is shining, storm is over, so I can leave Cleo and the cats and go over to dad's.

Had a great breakfast this morning with the gang. They were talking about some house in the mid-west that the people let go to foreclosure. Seems there were thousands of snakes in the place. When they bought it, they thought they could deal with it but it got to be too much. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!! What I don't understand is why just the one house and not the whole neighborhood? I haven't read the article yet. This morning was the first I heard about it. I have black snakes under the house and in the barn. Don't bother me none. They're good mousers. What they don't get then the cats take care of. In the five years I've had Charlie the count is mice -0-, Charlie -22.- Paid to rescue that little kitten.

As long as we had that big old wild sow running around my place, all the snakes disappeared. Now that it is dead, the snakes will come back. Pigs eat snakes and everything else.
