CHAPTER TWO....
Went to dad's and he was playing in the dirt, filling in where he pulled out the saplings yesterday. Went up to the village and got $20 in gas, and picked up some milk. Then stopped at the Dollar store for laundry soap. When I started to clean out the mud room, I found a few blankets, so I think I'll wash them up and hang'em on the line. Not suppose to rain until Thursday. Ran into some old friends that I have not seen in a while. Her parents and mine were buddies for years and years. I always enjoy talking to Nancy and Gerald. Great people. Came home, fixed supper for the kids and me. Did two loads of wash and probably will do 2 more. Try to get to bed early, 'cause the siding people are suppose to show up this week. When the landscaper ground up the old bushes and such, a couple of large chunks flew against the siding. The silly guy shoulda parked the truck facing away from the house. So, he's gonna pay to have it fixed. And, he will, 'cause I know where he lives, where he works, and the route that he travels.
