GEORGOUS DAY...

Mid 60's out. Pulled the weeds in front of the barn under the forebay. Still haven't moved the rest of the pine tree that was cut down. Must get it done this week 'cause it's gonna be cooler. Still trying to figure out what to do with the patio/walkway at the back of the house. Since I had the door removed, I no long need it, but if I take it out, it'll be a mud path from the dogs. It can stay there, but the grass comes up between the bricks and it's just something else I have to find the time to take care of. I'll figure it out.

Amish kids are going past the house today on their scooters. They go all the way to the top of the hill, then fly down past the house. The dogs go crazy. I was out earlier and one of the boys yelled at Cleo, I went out to the road, the girls looked at me and scurried off. The boys were already up the road. Hey, it's a public road, but don't yell at my dogs, they're doing what they're suppose to. Bark at you.

While I was going out to the road, I noticed something laying at the end of my drive. Best pick it up before it blows into the meadow. It was a dirty diaper!! What kind of low-life throws out a dirty diaper? Geesh.

I have become a follower of your site. Since I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and lived there the first half of my life, it is nice to read about my home state. I will be in Pennsylvania next month, hope it is cooler than here. What part of the State do you reside?

Another question, what kind of dog is Archie? We have 3 Shih Tzu's and one looks something like Archie. He sure is cute.

Dizzy-Dick: I live in the southern part of this great state of PA. I mean the state NOT the politics or the government. I'm not far from the Mason-Dixon line.
When we first rescued Archie, we were told by several people he was a Shih Tzu. But after they talked to the original owner, it was clarified he was a peek-a-poo. Poor little guy went from Chinese Royalty to a mutt in a matter of seconds. My big girl Cleo is a Dober-Dor-Dal. That's Doberman, Lab and Dalmation. She can be quite nasty. Thanks for the 'follow' I enjoy your writings also.
